Shells #1 card

Having just read "Gifts from the Sea" by Anne Morrow Lindenberg, I had a lot of fun with this stamp. It is all one image which was stamped with a Colorbox Chalk pad onto the cream paper.
Then several Distress pads were rubbed over the paper. Extra Chestnut Roan was sponged into the corners. This was then mounted onto an embossed paper using an embossing folder. A light layer of color was sponged over the embossed surface. This was adhered to a piece of cork. The cork was placed onto the brown card. Another piece of torn cork was placed on top of the main image and the phrase "by the sea I love to be" was also stamped with Chestnut Roan. A piece of raffia was knoted twice and glued down to the side of the words. Words are by Art Impressions.
