Cat's Pajamas Lifesaver Card
Really like this set from Cat's Pajamas. It's great for summer cards, thank you cards, and I'm using it for a Father's Day card. There are more sayings that are in the set than you see on the front of this card. Colored in with Copic markers and used some Bo Bunny summer paper for the printed paper.

Father's Day Card
Loved this paper we got in for Father's Day. Sure makes for a quick and easy card. Words are by Inkadinkado and were stamped with Versafine Lagoon.

Graduation Card
More graduations! This time an MSE word stamp was inked with an orange dye ink. The hats by Inkadinkado were stamped with Versafine gray. This was all placed on Little Yellow Bicycle printed paper. Now on to Father's day cards.

Masterboard card
Ok, I'll admit, this didn't come from the Masterboard yesterday. Wanted to leave that piece in tack for the class. I was experimenting with a similar page we'll be doing for the Art Journal class and I took a couple of pieces from that paper to show this sample for the Masterboard class. The words are by Cat's Life Press.

Masterboard
We did my Masterboard class last week and I have to say it was one of the most fun classes I've ever done. So what to do when something is fun? Do it again! Here is the Masterboard for my next class. This time we'll be working with Dylusional sprays, Fireworks sprays, stencils, and a white pen. We'll do three cards from our board like we did in the last class. Will show one of the cards tomorrow.

Art Impressions Set and Crafter's Workshop stencil Card
Art Impressions has the best series of funny folks you can find. I'm especially fond of the senior sets like this one here. Just love the look and both faces! The images were stamped in black and colored in with Copic markers. Some "Peanut Brittle" was sponged around the circle. The background was made with a stencil and a Momento yellow pad which was sponged through the stencil with a sponge tool. All this and the words were added to an orange card. Words come with the set.

Shrink Art/ Zentangle Jewlery
Here is the set of earrings and necklace I made for a teenager's birthday gift. The Shrinky Dink paper was die cut with a My Favorite Things die set and the center circle piece from Memory Box's rosette die. Color was added with Copic reinkers and then zentangled with a sharpie marker. Heat was applied to the paper and the magic happened! The items reduce about 33% in size. Color is intensified with the shrinking, and they become more dense. Added the hooks, strings, and silver embellishment, to complete the project.

Jillybean Paper
As you can see, I've been playing with the Jillybean paper again. It was run through the die cut machine with a die from My Favorite Things. The MFT die is a set and the faux ribbon and button were also used. "What's cook in'" is by Impression Obsession.

Art Journal Post
So my journey into mix media has been a joyful one. I've been working on "page two" of my art journal and here is the result. On this page lots of stencils and Dylusional sprays were used as well as Dyan Wakely's stamps. Throw in some of the Distress paints and an opaque white pen, and the fun just keeps on going! We'll be doing a page like this in July at Angela's Happy Stamper.

Masterboard Card #3
Am starting to get ready for my Masterboard class which is this Thursday. We will be doing the masterboard and three cards. Think I've shown the first two cards. Just finished the third card. It may be hard to see, but a design element was stamped with the "Frost" Versamark pad on the blue part. It shows up better in person. Had a lot of fun doing the board and cards. I'm looking forward to the class. In fact, I had so much fun, I've already made another board which I'll show to the folks Thursday night. Will post the cards once they are done.

Twinchie Card
So what do you do with a goofed up "Twinchie"? Cover it up, of course! Which led me to my scrap pile of printed papers. Small strips were attached and then the paper flowers were added. A brad was used to connect the flowers. More scrap paper was added to the card and then green card stock helped tie things together. I didn't put any words on yet. Can add them when I know what occasion is right for this card.

Stampn' Up! Feather Card
Amuse has this saying which I love. It seemed to go well with this feather set. Since it's intended for my Dad, the feathers were stamped in gray and then off stamped before going on the card. The card squares were punched from gray and white. Feathers came in a bag from a box craft store. One bag goes a long way. The feathers were attached with a couple of foam dots.

Baby Card
I got to be the first to see my friend's new baby! It's a girl, but they want to avoid "traditional" colors, so I made this card for them. The words are rub ons and must have caught the flash. They say, "Future Triathlete Eating, Sleeping, Pooping" Then inside it says, "Congratulations on your sticky, stinky, adorable child"(stamp by Rubber Moon). Added some buttons and it's ready to go.

Jillybean Paper
Had so much fun with this paper, I couldn't stop. Here is another card I made with the punch outs and the paper. Does rather make me want to go eat a snack now, though.

Jillybean Paper
Here is some of the cute new paper we got in by Jillybean. I got the collectors pack of paper that has a couple of sheets of the whole line of these papers as well as punch outs and stickers. Such fun! Just mix and match and you are done! Am sharing my card at the store which is why you see it on the cork board.

Another Grad Card
Needed another graduation card. Stamped the swirling caps repeated across the card and went back with a black colored pencil and filled in each cap. The words are by Rubber Moon. Cap and scroll are brads.

Penny Black Grad Card
This image from Penny Black is a perfect one for the multi colored brayer look. It was done on glossy white paper. The words are also by Penny Black. Not sure who did the brads, but added them for a finishing touch.

A Good Tale
This image was done a week or so ago on printed paper from Graphic 45. Here is a sleeker and simple use of the stamp that was more along the lines of how I initially was planning on using it. Do you have a preference?

Rosie Roadshow Card
Want to start off first by saying "Happy Mother's Day" to any of you moms. You ladies rock! Have a mom friend who is finding herself in new digs creating "new beginings" on her own, so wanted to give her a card of encouragement as she moves into her new place. The houses and words are Rosie stamps, the sun is by Memory Box. Houses were colored in with Copic markers. Hoping this cheerful card will put a smile on her face.

Hero Arts Cupcake
This cupcake was stamped onto a glossy white paper that had been brayered with a multi colored pad. Extra color was added to the paper wrapper and the flower. A white opaque pen added extra "pop" to the image. A small pink gem was placed in the center of the flower. The pink piece was dry embossed with an embossing folder. Words are by Cat's Pajamas. Inside was stamped "Keep calm and eat a cupcake" by Impression Obsession.

Penny Black Poppy
Vellum was used in the card posted yesterday, and now it is used in a more sparingly way, but an effective way on the dragonfly wings. The poppies were stamped and then restamped onto the yellow circle. Inktnese watercolor pencils were used to color in the poppies with a Dove blender pen. The words are by Printworks. The dragonfly is a die by Memory Box.

Magenta Tulip
Time for another free Make It Take It at Angela's Happy Stamper Store! You can go in any time between 10-8 today and make this card for free.
This is one of my favorite flower stamps. Today I inked in with a dye base Momento ink markers and stamped it on vellum. The tulip was then filled in with a soft pink marker and a lighter green marker. The vellum was then flipped so the unstamped side is on the front. The stamp by Great Impressions was stamped on the front with a black dye ink. To adhere the clear paper to the card, washi tape was used. As you can see, the base card was a lime green.

Master Board Card #2
A friend once ask me to show her how to do a college card. It surprised me how a college piece was intimidating to her. So, for those neat and orderly people, doing a Master Board is a good way to learn how to college. You are doing one big piece which is meant to be very random. Then you take these random pieces and create cards. I created the Master Board the other day and posted one card. Here is the second card done from one of the cut pieces.

Flower Soft Card
It's been a night of blue fingers and botched projects. (Ugh!) So here is a card with Flower Soft which is a reminder that Techniques II is coming up on Thursday. Flower Soft is one of the techniques we'll explore as well as many others. Hop on over to Angela's Happy Stamper blog and click on classes so you can see the picture of all our projects. There is still room , but I'll be prepping soon so sign up today if you want to come.

Hero Arts Card
Spent the weekend cleaning up the stamp room. When I can't pull back my chair without hitting something, and when I can't turn around without something falling, it is definitely time to clean! Have posted here a quick card with a Hero stamp. The printed paper came from my scrap pile. Buttons from the ones that I was picking off the floor. How's that for a real confession?

Cat's Pajama's Get Well Card
This cheerful card will hopefully help a sick friend smile. The whale was colored in with a Dove Blender pen that had dye base ink pulled from a stamp pad. The waves were made with a Fiskers punch in three different blues. Birds were from a Stacy Stamps set, and the sun is by Memory Box and done in Brilliance Sunflower yellow. Words were part of the whale set.

Master Board
Have you ever done a master board for card making? Basically, it's creating your own printed paper. Then once you have all your elements done, you can cut up the paper to use on cards. It always amazes me how many cards you can get from one board. This was so much fun I've made it into a class. Check at Angela's Happy Stamper store to sign up. We'll make the board and three cards.

Art Journaling
Art journaling has become quite popular, so I decided to make the plunge and see what all the fuss was about. Here is my first page, and I'm hooked! In fact, it was so much fun, I'm inviting folks along to enjoy the journey with me. I am offering this as an ongoing class at Angela's Happy Stamper store. We'll do one page each time and try out different techniques each time. Come and share the joy!

Graphic 45 Fan Card
There is a stamp magazine I read that interviews artists and they always ask where they get their inspiration. Makes me chuckle, 'cause I never see anyone say, "Oh, I just start in on whatever scraps and crap that is still hanging around my work space." But, you know it's true! So that's the truth to this card. I had a smuged "Twinchie" that I couldn't bear to throw away. So, since my Graphic 45 paper was still out from the card I did yesterday, I just used scraps to cover the "Twinchie" board. The fan charm was added, and more paper went on the Memory Box card, and it's done!
