Dreamweaver Embossing Paste

Really like the orange paste from Dreamweaver.   Unfortunately, I hear it is being discontinued.  There are some jars still available, but once they run out, that's it!  I added color to this at the demo but took this picture in the" before" state.  Think it still looks good as it is.

Smooches Tree Card

Have started seeing some trees begining to turn colors.  This set by Paper Smooches enables you to create what ever kind of tree you would like.  This set allows you to do solid and outline leaves and the ablitity to overlap the line leaf on a solid leaf. The word is from the set as well.  All inks were dye inks.

Halloween card

The pumpkin man here was bought at a show that had several of these fellows on it.  He's been trimmed and placed on the black paper.  Printed paper was placed behind, and ribbon and the brad as added as well.

Hero Arts Brayered card

This seemed a good fall card to show.  The circle was masked and then "Cappucino" Kalidacolor was brayered over the white glossy paper.  Once the mask was removed, yellow was sponged on the circle.  Then the wheat was inked with a brown dye ink and stamped over the card.  The birds by Stampscapes, was inked in brown and so was the words by Impression Obsession.  The glossy paper was mounted onto a dark brown card.

Gold Embossing Paste Pines

Been putting away my supplies from Saturday's demo.  Saw there were some cards that weren't posted, so thought I'd share some.  Here is the first one-which reminds me that I need to get back to finishing up my Christmas cards.  This is a Dreamweaver stencil that was covered with the gold embossing paste onto brown card stock.  While the paste was wet, Ultra Gold Glitter was added just to the pine needles.  The paste was then allowed to dry.  It was mounted onto two different gold colored papers.  Inside the same paste was used with Dreamweavers' "Seasons Greetings" stencil on brown paper that was attached to the gold paper.

Fall card with Impression Obsession Background

It's offically fall and it's actually starting to feel like fall.  I've been really enjoying the change.  Got a card here to go with the feeling.  The background was stamped with one of IO's wall stamps of small leaves.  It was inked with a brown pad onto the gold Memory Box card.  A little extra ink was added to the corners.  Then the printed paper was layered on top of the card along with some great preprinted leaf ribbon.  Finished it off with a metal leaf sticker.  Hope you've been able to enjoy some good weather as well.

Flocking Stocking

Had a grand time at the Open House.  Here is one of the cards from my demo.  The stocking was done with regular white paste.  A mask was placed over the the white areas and red flocking was tapped onto the center of the stocking.  Then the masks were removed and white flocking was tapped onto the remaining areas.  Then the stocking was set aside to dry.  Once dry, the stocking was cut out and mounted onto the paper with foam tape.  Three white buttons threaded with red satin ribbon were added to the side with glue.  Hope you have enjoyed our week of stencils and paste.  Did you have a favorite?  Would love to know which one.  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know.

Embossed Thank You card

Thanks for a fun Open House!  We all had a grand time.  We had more people come than any other Open House and really enjoyed seeing all the folks who could come.  I showed how to make this card during my demo.  Used two stencils and the copper paste on both.  Added some Copper metallic to the edges of the paper with a metallic pad.  Am off to put my feet up and relax.

Poinsettia Stencil

Well, today is the day!  Here is one of the stencils I'll be demo-ing today at the Open House at Angela's Happy Stamper.  This stencil was done with red embossing paste and then irridescent glitter was sprinkled over it.  Once dry, yellow gems were added to the center of the flower.  The image was cut out and adhered to the gold metallic paper.  The gold was added to red metallic paper.  Remember, the demo is ten until noon.  Hope to see you there!

Here's a variation of yesterday's stencil.  Gold paste again, which was left to dry.  Then small red gems were added to the tree.  The background was done with the swirl embossing folder by Cuttle Bug on gold metallic paper.  So much bling on this card I had to shoot the picture at an angle so you wouldn't see the flash.  There is lots more to see, so come on in Saturday morning to Angela's Happy Stamper.

Dreamweaver Stencil and Paste

More gold paste was used with this Christmas stencil.  This time though, Ultra fine gold glitter was added to the paste while it was still wet.  Once dry, the glitter remains in place.  This is so shimmery didn't think it needed much more.  Come see it in person on Saturday.  It'll brighten up your day!

Embossing Paste Pear #2

Had some fun making this pear.  It was done with gold embossing paste. Then I added some of the Stampendous Frantage items-Glitter glass and Mica flakes to the paste while it was wet.  Once dry, the paste held all the pieces in place.  Used metallic gold paper and a gold ribbon to finish off the card.  I like how I could use this card for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Embossing Paste Pear #1

The Open House for Angela's Happy Stamper is coming up this Saturday, from 10 till 5.  I've been busy getting ready for my demonstration with Embossing Paste.  The demo will be in the morning.  This week I'll be posting some of the cards I'm getting ready for the demo.  This pear was done with gold paste and then Color Box Chalks added extra color once the paste was dry.  The background was done with a Cuttle bug folder on brown paper.  A gold pad was run lightly over the raised areas.  Gold metallic paper was placed under this piece.  Glittery ribbon was used behind the gold paper.
If you are in our area, hope to see you Saturday.

Pumpkin Bells

Here is my favorite Halloween card that I've made this year.  Got these pumpkin bells a while ago at Micheal's.  I punched out 3 circles on a Memory Box black card. Then punched small holes above each circle and ran a very thin wire through the hole and attached the bells. Added the orange print paper and wrapped a black satin ribbon around the front.  Then the Graphic 45 piece was applied with foam tape.  The Memory Box paper is white on the inside, so this shows through the circles.

Halloween Greetings

Took the cat and the tiny pumpkin paper by Graphic 45 and layered it up with some great paper by Canvas Corp.  Added the ribbon and it all seemed to come together.  The bottom card is by Memory Box.  On the back of my Halloween cards this year I am stamping a small saying that says, "I'm scary enough without a costume" and then signing my initials so folks know it's a handmade card.

All about the Candy Card

Found some skeleton paper the other day that matched some skeleton stickers I had.  Here's one of several cards I made with the stickers and paper together.  The candies are also stickers.  Found the perfect saying to go with the card.  Am trying to remember who makes the stamp but I'm drawing a blank.

Flower Soft and IO Stamp

I thought this image was begging for Flower Soft.  Had fun pulling out my jars and glue to do this card.  First I did the Ultra Fine green.  The white glue goes everywhwere you want the Flower Soft to stick.  Next, I poured the Flower Soft generously over the image and lightly patted it down.  Then I lifted out the card and shook off the excess.  Now I applied more white glue and then poured the "Heather" regular Flower Soft over the whole image and shook off the excess.  The paper is from a new line by Kaiser and was die cut out.  More of the Kaiser paper is underneath it.  The cream cards were sponged with Versafine Sepia over the edges of the paper.  Added some pearls also from Kaiser.  The butterflies were stamped twice and one set was colored with Copics and cut out.  Foam tape adhered them to the card.

Time College

Used an old Stampn'UP! set to make this card.  The tan paper was torn and laid down.  The images were inked with black Versafine.  Next the tan paper was picked up again so the gold thread could be wrapped around it.  Now it was glued down to the card.  The words were also inked in black Versafine and then a gold Krylon was run along the edges.  Foam tape adherd the piece to the card.

Zentangle Pumpkins

Had fun doing these pumpkins.  They are free hand drawn and then the designs were added with a Micro black Copic pen.  I refer to the Zentangle books for design ideas. Color was added with Copic markers.  The pumpkins were then cut out and attached to Bazzill dotted paper with foam tape.  Added the raffia and "Autumn Wishes" by Rubber Stamp Tapestry.  It's still warm, ok, hot, but my head is definately in Autumn mode.

Memory Box Dies

Found this great printed paper at the store.  I traced out the circle and cut it out and put it on the Memory Box card.  For some reason the branch and bird came right to mind to put onto the circle. Once it was on it seemed complete to me so I quit.  Think this turned out alright.  What do you think?  Should I have added something more?

Graphic 45 Card

Graphic 45 is hands down my favorite paper company.  Their new Halloween line uses images from old post cards.  Makes for wonderful, yet easy cards to create.  All I had to add to this card was some ribbon and a sticker.  I did color the dots on the ribbon orange though, with a Copic marker.  The dots were actually white.  Thought orange would look better with the card.

Hero Arts Boo Card

Hero Arts has out some fun clear sets for Halloween.  Took some of the new images and used them together to make this card.  We got in some googly eyes at the store.  Thought they went perfectly with this "Boo".

Graphic 45 Card

Graphic 45 paper just never disappoints me.  Love their new Halloween selection.  Took some from their 6X6 papers and mixed them together to create this card.  All the papers are double sided.  Makes for some great debates as to which side to use.

Creative Imaginations Card

Here's some paper that takes me back to the 70's.  It's double sided and both sides are used here.  Cut out the pears and added them with some foam tape to the punched out squares.  Mounted everything onto a Memory Box card.  The paper is by Creative Imaginations.

Kaiser Card

There are several new 6X6 card packs by Kaiser in the store.  They are so great to use when making cards because all the papers mix and match.  One extra bonus I found out when opening this pack was that there are punch out papers.  Several are used on this card.  Sure puts the easy in a quick card!  The balloons are cut out from some of the papers from the pack.  In fact the only thing not from the pack are the brads.

Halloween card

Went back to my paper stash for this paper.  Added a Halloween sticker and a plastic glittered spider and we're all done.  Inside it says, "You scare me" by Hero  Arts. Paper is by Reminice.  Another yea for quick and easy.  Will hand deliver this card, though.  Wouldn't want to send that spider through the mail.

Graphic 45 Train Card

Here's a card for Pop.  He's always liked trains.  Paired it up with paper from the Gentlemen's collection and added a few gunmetal brads.  Let's say yea to quick and easy.

Eat Cake Graphics Card

Tried out our little guy in purple this time.  Don't think his mom is going to be any less mad, but liked how this turned out.  Color was done with Copics.  Extra color was sponged around the images.   Sticker came from Hobby Lobby.

Halloween Wishes

We got some great new seasonal paper at Angela's Happy Stamper.  I used a couple of pieces on this card.  Even the hats and cats were on the border of the paper.  Used some of the paper to make a rosette.  Added this cloth cat sticker on top of it.  The sticker was origionaly white.  Orange ink was sponged on to add color.  "Halloween Wishes" is by Hero Arts.  The sparkely stickers and ribbon are from Hobby Lobby.

Fall Rosette Card

Combined fall paper from a 6X6 pack to make the quilt background.  Then used Tim Holt's rosette die cut with Memory Box fall paper to create the center piece.  I tried using double stick tape to secure the rosette to no avail.  You definately need red tape adhesive to make it stick.  Added a green circle under the piece to give it some extra pop.  Used an acorn sticker to finish off the card.

Rubber Moon Autumn Card

A happy fall to you all.  Am starting out the month with a card to celebrate the new season.  The words are by Rubber Moon.  A brown Versafine ink was used to stamp the words.  Added some twine and a silk leaf.  The paper is from my fall paper stash.  I find it helpful to keep printed paper by category.  That way I can pull out the container and sift through more effectively to find what I need. Have you seen any leaves changing yet?  I have noticed a few trees are just starting to color, and the smell of fall is in the air.
