Art Impressions Birthday
I love the characters that Art Impressions has been offering. And the sayings to go with them are a hoot! Who doesn't want to get a card like this? Definitely puts the "happy" in happy birthday!
Our lady here was colored in with Copic markers. A stacking oval by My Favorite Things went around her. Printed paper is by Fancy Pants.

Summer Fun card
Although most of the papers for summer are sea themed, there is some great flower paper in the Summer Fun series. Do like the colors they used. Embellishments doubled up on the red piece.

Summer Card
The waves set of paper here has some "Brag" cards. If you like card making but don't stamp, this line is perfect. You can use the brag cards and just cut and glue. Use a button embellishment to finish off the card.

Fancy Pants Paper
Was so excited when this new summer paper arrived by Fancy Pants. There are two lines that came in along with embellishments. I got to spend some time today mixing up the paper and embellishments to make some sample cards. Oh so fun! Here is the first one.

Anniversary Card
Gave this card to my hubby yesterday. It didn't show up in the photo, but the front of this card has images stamped with a Versamark ink so they show up in the background. They are images of cooking utensils from a set by Penny Black. I'm fortunate enough to have a husband who likes to cook. On the inside it said "You add spice to my life" and had the image of measuring spoons under the words. He liked the card. I like his cooking! Words on the front came from an old Stampn' UP! set.

Rivercity Get Well card
We just got in some yummy summer paper at the store. I was all over this paper! Thought it went really well these stamps from Rivercity. These stamps were used on a card I posted last week. Varied it up using the printed paper and then coloring in the map and compass using Faber Castel crayon pencils and a Dove Blender pen.

Art Journal Entry
Got a class coming up soon. Thought I'd give the folks in art journal to feel the love of Dyan Reavely's paints. Crafters Workshop has this wonderful stencil of flowers. It worked beautifully with Dyan's paints. Seemed a good one for some summer love.

Wordsworth
Got a new stamp set. I liked the simplicity of the flowers and it came with words as well. The flowers were colored in with Pan pastels and some extra color was added over the words as well. I've been seeing cards were a piece is mounted onto another piece of the same color and so I tried it out on the card. The yellow piece was embossed with an embossing folder.

Verses Get Well Card
It's always so nice to have a "get well" card ready for when you need it. I designed this card for our free Make It Take It at the store last week. The white paper was sponged with a little color around the edges with a Distress "Festive Berries" pad. The die is by Dreamweaver. Wanted to show how you can choose the color of the fern. No need to always make it green. Seemed to be a hit that day. I made an extra one so I'd have one ready in my stash for when I needed it.

Impression Obsession Dies
IO has some stacking dies that work great together here. Added them to some Basic Grey paper and mounted it onto kraft paper. Works for me.

Summer Card
Another paper card but this is a different set of summer papers by Bo Bunny. Added some twine and navy paper. Trying to get all my summer cards done so they are ready to send when I'm at the beach this summer.

Summer Paper
Are you feeling the summer vibe? This card will surely bring it on. Love the mix of papers. Just makes me smile. No need for stamping on this one. It's all papers and three bling spots.

Dina Wakely Stamp and Stencil
Dyan's paints were used in the background of this page. After the yellow was on, a credit card was used to spead the orange and red. Then the stencil was placed and a almost dry sponge of black paint was rubbed over the words. Then the image was stamped with a dye ink.

Penny Black Orchid
Got a chance to give folks a try using gelatos last week at our Make It Take It at the store. I made this card with a new orchid stamp by Penny Black. The color was added right to the rubber and then sprayed and stamped. Extra color was added by creating a palette and brushing on the color with a wet brush. Words are by Verses and were stamped with a Distress pink.

4th card
Hard to imagine that July is just around the corner. This is a quick and easy card done all with paper from a 12X12 sheet. Added some pearl bling and a flag sticker.

Birthday card
This card was specially made for a friend who loves the southwest. The cactus came with the designs already done so all that I had to do is stamp them on colored paper. Nice and easy!

Rubber Moon Birthday Card
This stamp could be used several different ways but here it's meant to be a birthday card. The star was made gold with the use of a glittery metallic pen. Gems add a little more bling.

Stampscapes card
Stampscapes are great cards for guys. Wouldn't this make a great Father's Day card? I like how you can work with great variations of colors for the images and yet it all comes together.

Card from my Summerscapes class
We had a fun class of eager students last week at Angela's Happy Stamper store. They did such a great job working on their coloring with the cards we made. I'm always impressed at how well folks can do without much experience with Stampscapes images. Here is one of the cards. No better way to start the summer than with some summery looking cards!

Deamweaver Stencil
This will be the first Father's Day without my dad. So, it seemed a little odd to be making a Father's Day card, but it seemed a fitting one for dad. I know Father's day cards can be challenging, so went ahead and made this one as an example. A sharpie was used to outline the boot stencil and then I doodled in the designs. Words are from a set by Crafty Secrets.

Deep Red Card
We got a new shipment in from Deep Red. I stamped this balloon image over a cloud background. The background was created with a stencil from Rosie Roadshow. The image was colored in with Copic markers.
