Valentine Card
If you follow my links to other blogs, this card should look vaguely familiar. I saw this template today on one of those blogs and wanted to try it out as a valentine card. Still using up paper, as you can see. Also used hearts made by a My Favorite Things die. It has multiple hearts in all shapes and sizes so when you run your paper through, you get lots of hearts to use.
On a happy side note, I've finally figured out how to crop my pictures on my phone. Oh happy day!

Embossed Valentine
It's a little hard to see in this picture, but the hearts here were all embossed in various folders before being die cut. More sequins again. Lots of color seems to be a theme for my valentine cards this year.

Valentine Card
Took the printed paper I found in my February drawer and punched lots of circles. Added the die and a bunch of sequins. The little pink heart was embossed and then die cut. I tried putting more die cut words, but it made it too busy. So, another one done!

Pet card
Some of us have pets that are truly part of the family and when they die, it's a real grief. I have sent bereavement cards to many and each person has gotten back to me to tell me how much it meant to get a card. I'm trying to get ahead of the need for cards, so I made this one up to put in my stash.

Impression Obsession Card
Just to be clear, this is not my design. Impression Obsession sent this to the shop as a Make It Take It. I did add the sequins. I liked it because you can use it as a valentine or, as in my case, as a birthday card.

Valentine Card
I saw the template to this card on Pinterest and wanted to try it out. Think it worked out pretty well. I'm trying to remember who did the die, but am not completely sure. Feel free to message me if you recognize it!

Valentine's Day Card
Well we were in the heart of the storm that hit the east coast this weekend. What a good time to stamp! Started off with some Valentines. When I opened my February box there were printed papers that went together well to make this background. Stamp is by Inkadinkado.

Gelli print Card
Loved this "Thank you" card that came in the mail the other day. It was done with a gelli plate and stencils. What you can't see is the shimmer quality to the paint. It is a very pretty card.

Congratulations card
Thankfully, I have finished making the sympathy cards I needed and can move on to another topic. Been needing some congratulation cards. This one was made very simply so it could be used for a man if needed. If it needs to be for a woman, think all it needs is a white paper flower to be added.

Sympathy Card
This card is for a the mother of a friend. The words didn't show up well in the picture, but actually stamped out just fine. The color matches the card. People often tell me they find sympathy cards hard to do. I don't find that is a problem for me. My goal is to keep the card pretty simple. I have found some good sympathy sayings for the inside of cards and that helps too.

Sympathy card
Don't think you would naturally think of Dylusion inks for a sympathy card, but I think this worked out pretty well. A Stampendous design stamp was then inked on the edge of the card in a similar color to the card.

Sympathy card with die cuts
Here is a variation on the card from yesterday. This card is also for a man. The fern die is cut so more of it would show.

Sympathy Card
The good news is that I took some time today to make cards. The bad news is that most of them needed to be sympathy cards. What is it about January? This one was made for a gentleman. The blues were brightened up with the taupe ribbon.

Valentine Card
Here is a good one for using up some paper scraps. A small pearl was added to each heart. This would need some padding if sent through the mail. Sure is a cold day today. A good day for stamping! Hope to share some results with you from what I create today.

Stampscapes card
Been a busy week between teaching a class and getting ready for another one Saturday This is a new card added to Winterscapes. Wanted to show how you can do a winter class without using any white. It's hard to see, but stickles was added to the trees which really makes them sparkle.

Art Journal for January
Art Journal class is tomorrow at Angela's Happy Stamper store. We are focusing on doing an abstract with watercolor effects and then using crackle pastes. Should be fun. Call the store if you are interested in taking this class.

So I tried my Christmas card in a different color and with a colored boarder. Any preferences? Leave a comment and let me know which you think I should keep doing.

Reverse Confetti Christmas card
It's been really busy here but I swore I would get some Christmas cards done each month. I'm bursting with joy that I got started with this card! As the tortoise said, "Slow and steady always does it." The background stamp is by Memory Box.

Retirement Card
This new year is really a time of big change for some folks I know who started the year off by retiring. Two tags were colored with Viva Décor 3-D paint. Images were stamped on with Stazon. The the card was dry embossed with some folders. Words are a die by Hero Arts.

Graphic 45 Valentine
Since I had the Graphic 45 paper out, I went ahead and did a valentine from the calendar set. I'm sending this to a lovely friend who is past 90. She is homebound now so cards are a special joy for her. Hope she likes it.

MFT Birthday Die
Yea! Back in action! Starting off with a wonderful die from My Favorite Things. Behind the die cut paper is some pretty printed paper by Graphic 45. Then a few paper flowers were added to the center and held together with a brad. Yep, still dealing with January birthdays.

Well the computer crashed big time. Will be a bit before posting again. Technology is great until it isn't!

Tim Holtz's embossing folder
Well, just when you think you can breath a sigh of relief that all your Christmas cards are done, along comes an early January birthday! Went super simple with this card. Rather than emboss the snowman, I debossed it. Then all around on the blue card white pigment ink was smudged on. Then the words and snowflakes were stamped using "Faded jeans" distress pad. Doing a simple card means it will arrive on time!
