Fall Shaker Card
This is the last card we did in Deb's shaker card class. Can you imagine? We did four shaker cards! Such a good deal! Be looking for another fall card class from Deb (not shaker this time) in October. She is a fabulous instructor and very well organized.

Fall Shaker Card
Besides Halloween cards, we did two fall cards in Deb's Shaker card class. We stamped the pumpkins and covered the back of our shaker card with it. We also cut out tiny leaves on printed paper that became the confetti. The words were stamped with a multi metallic pad.

Shaker Card from Deb's class
This is the other Halloween card we did in Deb's class the other night. She used a die from Memory Box to do this card. Lots of good beads, sequins and Halloween confetti helped finish off this card.

Shaker Halloween Card
Took a class last night at Angela's Happy Stamper store. Deb was teaching us how to make shaker cards. I've done them in the past and found it frustrating and not a successful as I would like, so I was eager to see what good tips Deb would be teaching us. Was not disappointed! It was so much fun I thought I'd share the joy. Good news with this card is the foam, paper, and acetate all comes in a very inexpensive kit! Deb has us kick it up a notch by adding printed paper. The images are by Taylor Expressions.

Sympathy Card
This limb and the words came out of the same clear set. Both were stamped with the same VersaMagic pad. The color seemed to go well with the base card. Once again, thought clean and simple seemed best.

Sympathy Card
Halloween cards are much more fun to make, but what I've needed are some sympathy cards. This strip of printed paper was on my desk so I used it as the starter for this card. It was added to a strip of soft white paper and then placed on a gray/green card. After stamping the words, the paper was run over the black pad to put a bit of a boarder. Thought black paper behind the white would look too severe. Kept the look simple which seems more fitting for a sympathy card.
Impression Obsession Halloween Card
This is a new image by IO. I've been mulling around ideas of how to use it. Picked a simple way today by stamping it on some paper that was sprayed with Dylusion sprays and water. The image was stamped in Versafine black. Added it to some printed paper and then some stickers and it all came together pretty quickly.

Halloween Card
This is a glorious compilation of many items collected for Halloween. There is printed paper, stickers, a die cut, gems, washi tape, and a stamp. Feels like I should win some award. Hope the recipient enjoys it as much as I did making it.

Doodlebug Halloween paper
Here is another card done with the new Doodlebug paper pack. I have a friend who teaches chemistry so this card will go to her.

Doodlebug Paper
After being away from stamping for a few days, one of the ways I like to "get my feet wet"is by starting off making some cards just with printed paper. I find it gets the creative juices going. That was easy to do with a new pack of Halloween paper from Doodlebug. The only extra things added were the purple dot and sequins. Everything else came from the paper pack. It's great paper that is double sided.

Inkadindado Halloween Card
Well after a busy weekend, it's good to be back to stamping. If you look back over several posts last week, you will see how I've been experimenting with the many ways you can use this stamp. On this card, the image was inked with a Kalidacolor pad and then stamped on white paper. Makes for an easy, yet colorful image. The printed paper happily picked up on many of the colors of the pad. Then it was mounted onto a green card. The background solid paper is actually a very dark purple. Worked out well with the green matte dot stickers.

DC Flea
Yep, it's that time again! We will be busy for the next few days. DC Flea runs this Saturday through Sunday at the Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. If you are looking for our booth, we will be in aisle I. It's a fun time, and a place bursting with lots of creative possibilities! We have some paper ephemera that will be new in our booth for those who like to paper craft. I hope to be back posting next week.

Gelli Print Card
Imagine my pleasant surprise when this card arrived. Loved the background done with stencils and paint done on a Gelli Plate. Loved the color combination. When people do Gelli prints, I'm not sure they always think of doing cards with the prints. But, it's one of my favorite ways to use them.

Inkadinkado Halloween Card
This is the same image that was on the card yesterday. When I embossed it, I did two images. The printed paper is by Graphic 45. Some organza ribbon was added. The ribbon has sparkly black on the edges. The card was finished off with some black gems. Inside was stamped the saying, "Tonight is a perfect night for Halloween". I'm usually partial to more streamed lined cards like the one I did yesterday, but think this one is my favorite. Will show some other options with this stamp in the future.

Inkadinkado Halloween Stamp
Found this stamp and had to have it! There is so many possibilities roaming through my head on how to use it. Today it was embossed with black glittery embossing powder. It was cut and mounted on black paper and then foam mounted onto another black paper. The paper was placed over the two pieces of ribbon. The crow is a black sparkly sticker. Inside was stamped, "Have a hair raising Halloween!"

Hero Arts Card
This is the last card made for the set I made to give to a relative. All together there were six cards. There were two cards of each design. This one is very different from the fall cards. That is because I wanted to give her some cards that would go with any season.

Note Cards
Yesterday I talked about how I made a set of note cards for a relative. A set of six cards were made. This is the second card. This one doesn't have any sayings so it can be used for any occasion.

Art Impressions Wobbble Card
AI has a series of "wobble" sets. The wobble is a spring which you can attach to one part of the image which causes it to, well, wobble! This set comes with the stamps of image and the "trick or treat" saying, a die cut for the feet, and one self adhesive spring. Two Impression Obsession sayings were also added to complete the card.

Impressions Obsession Halloween
The back side of the printed Halloween papers that I have been using seemed too good to pass up. They were pulled together on this card and worked well with the new IO saying. The words were stamped in purple and colored with pencils.

Halloween Card
What do you do when you can't sleep? I decided to go back to my new printed paper pile and make some more cards. Here is one using matte dots as well.

Framed fun
Unlike yesterday's framed Halloween picture, here is a framed decoration that I don't have to wait on. This can go out right away. The leaf was die cut and some brown was sponged on the tips of the leaf. The frame came with the black background so it's all set.
