Summer Card
While at work today I made some summer cards with some new 12X12 paper we have. As you can see, it has a patriotic theme to it. The double sided paper came in handy for the paper ribbons.

Dreamweaver Thank You
This is a simple and easy card. This image is all one stencil. All that was added was the glitter paste and then left to dry. Glitter paste shows up really well on dark paper. Once dry, it was mounted on some printed paper, and then added to the card.

Birthday Card
Thanks for Facebook, I was reminded that my sister-in-law had a birthday coming up. I took this nice card that I made a few weeks ago at the free Make It Take It at Angela's Happy Stamper store, and added a matching ribbon. Off it went in the mail!

Mix Media Card
Here is one of my favorite samples from the glitter paste demo. Watercolor paper was sprayed with Dylusion sprays and dried. The the triangle stencil was placed over the paper and glitter paste was applied in sections of the stencil. Once the paste was dried, the tage was applied. The word was also done with paste. The circles were stamped with dye base inks.
One of the things I was trying to show with the demo was how you can use the paste in parts on a card. It doesn't have to cover the whole card. It is an easy way to use glitter and not actually end up wearing it, and the paste creates a nice dimension but not so much that you have to have extra postage when mailing a card.

Anniversary Card
Got to babysit the kids of friends while they went out to celebrate their anniversary this past weekend. Twenty years together is definitely worth celebrating! This is the card I made for them. The hearts are all in one row. Using a Kalidacolor multi colored pad, I repeat stamped the hearts down the white paper. Then on a piece of vellum the words (by Verses) were stamped in black. A light swipe of a Range stick glue at the top and bottom was enough to hold the vellum in place.

Glitter Paste
This is one of the samples shown at the demo last week on glitter paste. A metal stencil by Dreamweavers was placed over the printed paper and then Bo Bunny glitter paste was applied over top. Printed paper tends to wrinkle, but double stick tape will flatten the image out. Didn't the warm weather over the weekend put you in the mood for the beach? As you can see, I'm getting my summer cards ready.

Glitter paste
And a happy Memorial Day to you! Sorry for such a long break, but we had yet more computer issues with our new computer. (sigh) But, as you can see, we are finally up and working again!
This card was made with metallic gold paper that was layered up on colored card stock. The word was from a word college stencil and applied with dye base ink with a sponge tool. Then another stencil was used with red glitter paste to create this reverse image. Adds a nice spot of bling without over powering the card.
