Well, having computer issues again. I am working on new ways to upload. Got this one in. (Yea!)
With the use of Dreamweaver Stencils, gold paste was applied. Thought it went well with the metallic paper. The gold on the heart was put on over dried red paste one with a heart stencil. Lots of layers to this card.

Acrylic Art Class
Day two of my art class and I'm pleased as punch with how this turned out. It's been so much fun to expand into this area of art. I have been a long time "observer" which has helped lay the ground work for finally delving in and getting to paint. All my art journaling, card making, and canvas project helped lay the foundation of courage and confidence so this can be a fun journey for me.

Happy Birthday
As you can see, I've been busy doing birthday cards. I don't bother with the tiny parts on the inside of the letters. Think it still looks ok. Think it needs a sequin on the left. What do you think?

Dylusion Sprays
More sprayed paper and a new die today. Makes for a quick card. Used an extra piece of the sprayed paper to add an extra strip at the bottom of the card. Called down with the sequins on this card.

Dylusion sprays
More sprays onto paper. Then the die of the word was set aside and the negative was used over the colored paper. Pulled out the sequins and rather went wild. Still don't have the use of sequins quite figured out.

Sprayed Birthday
It's all about the sprays today. The background was created with the use of a Dyan Reavely stencil placed on white paper. Then black Dylusion was sprayed over it. The stencil was lifted and the paper was left to dry. The paper under the words was made with more Dylusion sprays. The words are a die by Memory Box. Matte sticker dots are by Doodlebug.

Pear Painting
I had a good day the other day. I took my first beginning painting class. The project is not quite done, but more progress was made than I expected. Questions abounded regarding how to begin, but my instructor encouraged us to just start putting paint down and see what happens. She didn't even encourage us to pencil out an image first. Why not? The blessing of paint is that you can always paint over it. It felt so good to do something I've been wanting to do for a long time, I came home and tackled a closet that has needed rehauled for just as long. That made me feel even better! Hope you give yourself permission to go do something you have been wanting to do. Who knows what it may lead you to do!
