The lovely lady over on the "Simplicity" blog showed a card a while ago that was the inspiration for this card. She took paper scraps and combined them together like this and then had some twine wrapped around her piece. It seemed so simple but looked great. One thing I did differently here was to add some texture to the card with an Impression Obsession wall stamp. The ink was an orange which covered the whole front of the card. I also added a brown border to the piece. Will show one that is more like hers at a later. The words were inked with a brown dye ink and the stamp is by Stampn' Up!. I"m getting low on my "Thank you" card stash, so will be showing more samples on that theme this month.
