Gelli Print

Love this quote by Impressions Obsession.  It has definitely been true for me.  Really stepped out of my comfort zone with trying out the Gelli plate.  For those who are unfamiliar with it, the plate is a silicon slab that you spread acrylic paint on in small spots and brayer out the color.  Then you can imprint items into the paint.  Then layer on a piece of paper and press the paint on to the paper.  Pull away and there you are!  The best part is that you can quickly put a fresh piece of paper over the plate
and it will pull up the rest of the paint and give you a negative image of what you just made.  Happily, the paint dries very quickly so you can begin to cut and create your cards as soon as you are done with the prints.  Creative Workshop has tons of stencils which is what I pressed into the paint here.  The paper was a piece of printed 12X12 paper that I didn't like much.  Really like it now!
