Father's Day Card

We're celebrating Father's Day with my Dad. He's 88, and just this year has begun to have memory issues. Dramatic memory issues. Memory and facts have always been strenghts of his. So this has been a keen loss for him. He's taking it pretty well, and I wanted to give him a card to remind him that we love him so much he can't forget that.
The background to this card was made with a cloud template. I used a round sponge that I dabbed on a blue pad and tapped it along the edge of the template. Then the template was moved and the process was repeated across the paper until the whole page was completed. The moon and ship were free hand drawn and cut out. Then some extra color was dabbed onto the edges. Then the stamp was inked with a blue dye.
