Impression Obsession Patriotic Card
For patriotic cards, this is one that is just fun to make. The image was stamped with Momento black and colored in with Copic markers. (By the way, there is a new book out on Copic markers. Have you seen it? I was reading it last night and it really helped to clarify all the fuzzy facts I had regarding the markers. Great illustrations and very readable. We have them at the store but I doubt they'll last for long.) The gold areas were done with a gold Spica pen. It has a very detailed point which is very useful with this detailed card. Once it was all colored in I went back with a Starlight pen and went over some of the areas to add a little extra dazzle. The image was mounted onto a dark blue paper that was wrapped with a white dotted ribbon and then a red satin ribbon over that. The words are by Amuse. The star is a button that I cut the shank off of and added with a glue dot.
