Flower Soft Window Card

I really like this stamp by Impression Obsession. It was colored to look like one of the many window boxes I saw on Martha's Vineyard. When we were at Cape May, I saw a store with window boxes that looked like I had used them as my inspiration for this card. The image was stamped with Momento Black and then colored in with Copic pens. The Flower Soft yellow was added to the center of the petal flower, and then the Ultra fine green flower soft went on last. The punch for the white under the window is a Fisker's punch.

Flower Soft Window #2

This is another card that we do in my Flower Soft Windows class. We're using an image by Impression Obsession. It is stamped in black first, then the brick area around the windows is stamped again in red and cut and pieced over the black. Coloring was done with Copics. Flower Soft has two parts. Used regular Flower Soft in the boxes, but did two different colors that were put on one at a time. The pebbly background is a Cuttle Bug folder that embossed a white paper. Then a red pad and a brown pad were brushed over top to give it some color.

Flower Soft Window

Had a class last week with Flower Soft. All the cards used window stamps from Impression Obsession. This is one of the windows we did in that class. It's not a hard card, but not a fast easy one either. Part of the reason for that was because we had lots of cutting and postioning to do on this card. The glass part just seemed to call for acetate and then we had to stamp and position it on the card. The Flower Soft here was added to paper covered wires. This enabled us to add dimension at a new level. The wires can be bent(once the Flower Soft is dry). We colored the flowers behind with Copics. Ultrafine Flower Soft was added under the wire flowers.

Impression Obsession Birthday Card

This started out as a sample for the store, but ended up being a birthday card for my sister-in-law. She recently lost her husband to cancer, so I didn't want a card that was too cheerful, yet did want something she'd enjoy. This seemed to fill the bill. The image was stamped with a Memento black and colored in with Copic markers. The tops of the flowers were enhanced with brown flower soft. The butterfly was stamped again, colored, and glued on so the wings are raised off the paper.
The brown paper was punched with a Fiskers long punch, and the words (by Hero Arts)were stamped with a black Versa Fine pad. The light tan piece was embossed with a Cuttle Bug Folder and inked with a Distress Tea pad. "Cherish" is a premade sticker but I don't remember who made it.

Memory Box Wreath Card

Love this wreath by Memory Box. It's so versatile. For the valentine, flower soft was added by applying a white glue first to the wreath (which was stamped in Versamagic Java) and then the Flower Soft was poured over the glue. The excess Flower Soft was removed and the card was allowed to dry. That's it! The printed paper is by Memory Box. The pink heart paper clips came in a box of mixed colors from Walmart. Ribbon pieces were added to it. The word stamp also stamped in Java, is from Printworks. The pink pearls are also by Memory Box.

In the town of Oaks Bluff on Martha's Vineyard, there is a Methodist Camp full of wonderful Victorian cottages. Bright and colorful, these cottages have been there for over 100 years. They were the inspiration for this card. The background blue was embossed by my Cuttle Bug. I cut out the Impression Obsession window and mounted it onto the blue with foam tape. The window was colored with Copic Markers. Flower Soft was added to the window box with a white glue. This gives the card a very textured look. I added a little sparkle to flower soft with loose glitter. This is one of the cards I do in my Flower soft Windows class.
