Really wanted to have some New Year cards done, but that hasn't happened. So, I'm moving on to the next holiday after that. This card uses a mulberry paper that has dragonflies printed on it. It actually came as a roll. It was cut and glued down on the navy paper. On the torn side, white glue was squeezed along the edge and tiny micro beads were poured over the glue. The glue dries clear. A Chinese coin was also glued in the corner. The word is a sticker that was placed on white paper, then the paper was placed on double sided sticker paper which was put on the mulberry paper. More micro beads were poured over the sticker paper. Gives a nice texture to the card without making it hard to mail.

Dragonfly Love

Beach Card

My hubby and I celebrated our tenth anniversary last week by heading up to Cape May for a few days. I love the beach and we had a wonderful time. This was my first trip to Cape May and definately not my last. It is a lovely town with great beaches. Put me in the mood to share a beach card. Hope you get a chance to enjoy some beach time this summer.
The grass is inked with a Creamy Brown pigment ink by Color Box. The stamp was repeated across the page reinking each time before stamping. The birds were done with a slightly darker pigment ink and were not reinked when stamped again. The words are a canvas sticker that was distressed with some brown dye ink. Simple, but works well all together. Stamps are by Stacy Stamps.

Kitty Father's Day Card
Cats are our only babies, so for Father's day one year I gave this card to my husband. The image actually only has the one small cat on his stomach, so after inking the image with a black Momento dye pad and stamping it on the paper, I reinked the little cat and stamped it onto a piece of sticker paper. The images were colored in with Copic markers. The sticker cat was then cut out and placed beside the big cat. The Father's Day words are by Inkadinkado and were stamped in Versa Fine.
